ALS Paramedics was started after we felt a need for a professional Ambulance Service in and around the Durban area. With our Director Garrith Jamieson having been in the industry for over 20 years he is a well-known and trusted professional which people have come to rely on.

Garrith Jamieson – Director

Garrith runs a tight ship and ensures that his staff live up to his standard of the highest quality of patient care. Staff go through continuous training to stay up to date on the latest teachings. As we all know medicines and procedures change constantly and at ALS Paramedics, we strive to be the leading provider with the latest knowledge.

Sid Fine- Director

Sid Fine is Garrith’s partner who also comes with years of experience both locally and abroad. Sid also assists with ensuring that the staff maintain the highest standard of patient care.

Mark Thomas – General Manager

Mark Thomas is the General Manager at ALS Paramedics, leading our organisation with a steadfast commitment to excellence in emergency medical services. With a strong background in emergency response management, Mark oversees all strategic and operational aspects of ALS, ensuring our teams have the resources and support they need to perform at their best.

Jono Kok – Operations

Jono Kok is our dedicated Operations Manager at ALS Paramedics, ensuring seamless coordination across our teams for efficient emergency response. With his expertise as an ILS Paramedic, Jono not only oversees daily operations but also steps in on emergency calls when needed, providing hands-on support to deliver the highest level of care.

Rowan Scandroglio – Events

Rowan Scandroglio is our Events Coordinator as well as an ILS Paramedic. Rowan’s passion is event management, and he oversees multiple staff members in this division. He has managed up to 20 different events in a single day. With laws requiring medical personnel at gatherings, people have come to know and trust ALS Paramedics to provide this support.
